With only a few devices available in the store, associates often had to search for someone using a device or walk to the receiving area to ask about product price and availability, causing delays and disrupting customer service.
Finding where items were stored in the warehouse was confusing and inefficient
Real-time stock levels were not accessible, leading to customer disappointment
Existing tools were not designed with store floor needs in mind
This project was born from personal experience. As a former store associate, I witnessed firsthand the daily struggles my colleagues and I faced when trying to help customers quickly and efficiently.
The disconnect between what we needed on the store floor and what the existing tools provided became the inspiration for this redesign. I wanted to create something that would genuinely make life easier for the people doing this important work every day.
